Ahead of the 2024 Super Bowl showdown between her husband, Patrick Mahomes, and the San Francisco 49ers, Brittany Mahomes was unveiled as the newest rookie for SI Swimsuit.
The 28-year-old Texas native and the magazine shared the exciting news through a captivating behind-the-scenes video on Instagram, showcasing her swimsuit shoot photographed by Derek Kettela for the upcoming 60th anniversary issue set to release in May.
In the shoot, Brittany, a mother of two, flaunts a variety of Chiefs-red swimsuits, with a particularly striking moment featuring a Mugler halter-neck ensemble accentuating her toned physique with a daring cutout that plunges below her navel.
One of the standout images captures Brittany exuding Baywatch-esque allure as she gazes smolderingly at the camera, her beach waves dancing in the breeze, epitomizing the essence of a beach bombshell.
Reflecting on her journey in her cover story, Brittany, a former professional soccer player and co-owner of the Kansas City Current women’s soccer team, expressed her disbelief at the opportunity presented to her: “I never imagined this opportunity would come my way.”
Speaking on her inspiration, she emphasized empowerment and self-confidence: “I want women to feel empowered to always be yourself, love yourself, and feel confident in whatever you do, and I think SI Swimsuit does, too.”
